Elephant & Castle fun

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

I so enjoy a local job, who doesn’t? Paula hired me for her daughter’s birthday party at their lovely new flat at Elephant and Castle, SE17. The job was for an hour, but that was fine, as I squeezed in as much as I can as a face painter and balloon modeller.

The mothers enjoyed wearing my balloon hats, and the children tried to blow up as many balloons as possible. A real enjoyable job, that the family and guests seemed grateful for.

The London Paper

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

I was hired by the paper who was sponsoring a corporate event as a face painter only with the theme of heroes. Chilled out crown. It was nice to be just a face painter, makes a change to not wear big colourful outfits.

Short notice booking

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

I received a call at 11:30pm requiring a Children’s Entertainer for the following day. Now that’s the kind of short notice that I like. I just happen to be available and accepted it.

Hexagon Housing Association

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

I was to entertain the children with FACE PAINTING and BALLOON MODELLING at Rotherhite, SE16 in South East London, which was great as I used to live locally and go school near there. The local kids had fun, keeping me busy. Two gentlemen where cooking up great South Africa meat for the BBQ, which I got to taste during the heavy rain session, fortunately we had some shelter.

Thanks to Catherine and Brian for the booking.

From EAST HAM to PECK-HAM

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

What an adventure this Sunday. Two children’s parties, two different locations: East Ham & Peckham.

My first party was at East Ham, East London, for Natalie & Michael’s daughter’s Communal. I gave myself enough time, and I arrived an hour early. Fortunately they were happy for me to start 30mins earlier which was great. The children were active, and kept me busy, so its great not being bored. I have started handing out additional BALLOON pumps to let the kids have a go at pumping. Within 15 mins the FACE PAINTING began.

I had just over an hour to cycle to Peckham for a one year old’s birthday party. From an east end family to an African family, two different cultures, it’s great to see everyone having fun, drinking, eating and dancing together. It just hit me I have a lucky job that I see people on a high mode, as it’s their day off and they get to relax and have fun.

Natalie, who booked me for this job and the Southwark Council job, was there with her family. She did a great job of the decor of the place. Hope to do her son’s birthday party next week. Thank you once again Natalie for the booking.
