The Wedding Entertainer

Monday, May 4th, 2009

I received a call from Graeme, the groom to be, 24hours before the big day, as he required a children’s entertainer at the reception party in Chistlehurst, BR1, near Bromley. The balloon modeller & face painter in me liked this party as the adults wanted balloons and face painting too. The children were energetic before I arrived, and were entertained easily.

I never got to say bye, Graeme, so “bye” and thanks for the booking, great meeting you & your best man Steve, enjoy the honeymoon.

Merlin’s Magician

Monday, May 4th, 2009

I was fortunate to be hired for a very local job in Camberwell, SE5, for a young man’s birthday party in community hall. The plate spinning was an instant hit, in addition to my talents as a children’s magician, balloon modeller & face painter. The music & food was great, and the children got a kick out of the balloon rockets.

Thanks for the booking Merlin, I hope to entertain for you again.

The BBC event

Monday, May 4th, 2009

Starfish Faces required a balloon modeller for a special BBC event, that was launching a new children’s show. As a balloon modeller it’s not always I get to get challenged so it was nice to produce new balloon models for the children. This was a great job.

Thanks for the booking to everyone at Starfish Faces

The Richard & Judy Show

Monday, May 4th, 2009

Ok, so I was reading in my local cafe, while I received a call from the Associate Producer at Cactus TV for The Richard & Judy Show. Did I think it was a hoax at first, it crossed my mind. This was certainly the highlight of my career so far. They required a balloon modeller for a segment about talented members of the public, and to arrive at the studio within two hours at Cactus Studios in Kennington, SE11.

This was certainly an exciting job, and was very pleased by the professional & friendly service before and after the job.

Thank you for this opportunity John, this made a change from Children’s Parties.

The Brixton Boys & Girls

Monday, May 4th, 2009

Rohini hired me for a fun day event in Brixton, SW9, for the Guiness Trust Housing Association. This vibrant community event is one of the BEST. Various organisation of the community, African dancing, Irish folk dancing, live singing, that mixed in with my imput of Childrens Entertainer/clown, balloon modeller, face painter, plate spinning and magician. The children really got into making their own balloon models, and there was much anticipation for face painting.

Thanks for the booking Rohini, this was a delightful, well organised event, and hope to collaborate more in the future.

The Kew Kids, the reunion

Monday, May 4th, 2009

Here was another special booking. Last year I was fortunate to be hired by the brother of Sonia for his parent’s large family event, which got me another booking. This time, Sonia hired me for her son’s one year old birthay party, with 150 guests, there were certainly enough children that required entertaining at the church hall in Kew, TW9, near Richmond. The children were treated with entertainment as magician, balloon modeller, face painter, while dressed in my colourful clown type outfit.

Some of the children remembered me from last year’s parties, and they knew what they wanted, rocket balloons, flowers, and the large Octopus.

Sonia, this was a wonderful family event, and I really hope to entertain you and your family again.

The Brockley Balloon Boys

Monday, May 4th, 2009

This was a wonderful family event for two young boys’ birthday party. There were mainly boys there, and the children were very engaged on arrival. I was able to do a group lesson in modelling their very first dog! As a magician, the children were attentive, focused, and asked all the questions to try to ficure out how the tricks were done.

Thank you for the booking Kim, the children were great to get into.

The Uxbridge Family Event

I was grateful to have been booked as Childrens Entertainer for these delightful children. The adults in addition to the children were trying on my large colourful hat, which was fun to see. Some of the children were trying to figure out my magic tricks, and eagerly lined up for butterflies, birds and dragon face painting, in addition to participating in balloon twisting too.

Thank you for the booking Rupesh, it was a great party.
